Our Board of Trustees

We are committed to transparency and continuous improvement in the effective use of Foundation funds. We are an active member of SwissFoundations, the association for grant-making foundations in Switzerland, promoting transparency, professionalism, and the effective use of charitable means. 

The Z Zurich Foundation is governed by a Board of Trustees, whose members are elected by the Board of Directors of Zurich Insurance Company Ltd for a term of office of three years. The Board is supported by a management team led by Gregory Renand, Head of the Z Zurich Foundation.

Clear, comprehensive guidelines define the responsibilities of the Board of Trustees, any Committees of the Board of Trustees, the Chair and the Foundation management, as well as the necessary signing authority levels.
